Quick Levels for Mabinogi Newbies
Written: 2010/01/03
This is just a little trick for new players to gain some fast levels after rebirthing.
Most, if not all quests in Mabinogi require you to click on the "complete" button next to a quest in the quest window (Q).
This means if you have completed the quest, but not yet clicked on the button, it will remain available for reward collection indefinately.
This allows you to rebirth and collect the experience points from the quest rewards at level 1, resulting in massive level ups. This can be
very nice for new players who don't have high stats or skills after a rebirth.
Some exceptions include Lost Elf quests, and maybe some exploration quests. I have not tested these. The main point is to save the "big prizes" for rebirths,
such as the reach level 20, 30, 40 quests.
Example Video:
As you can see level 16 was reached instantly. Some people find this pointless, saying, for example, +10k exp at level 30 is the same as +10k exp at level 1. Technically this is true, however new, weaker characters will benefit more from the stats and AP earned from many levels than from a fraction of a level gained from completing the quest at a higher level. At a certain point, you won't need to bother with this anymore as you will be strong enough at level one to go gain levels easily.
